Governor Andy Beshear announced 1,039 new COVID-19 cases and 6 new deaths across Kentucky Friday afternoon.
In remarks made, the governor said with the news the President and First Lady tested positive for COVID-19, along with some of their advisors, shows anybody can get the virus. He added they wish them a speedy recovery.
In other comments, Governor Beshear said the situation is getting very dangerous and that if you care about the economy, if you care about getting kids back to school, if you care about the lives of those around, to put on a mask.
