Officials with the City of Hopkinsville say contractors for Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority will close a portion of South Virginia Street beginning Wednesday morning.
The closure will take place between East 21st Street and Morningside Drive and last through Friday evening at 6:00. Crews will perform sanitary sewer manhole replacement work at the intersection of South Virginia Street and Alumni Avenue. During the closure, officials add motorists should be prepared to detour as needed.
