A Clifty woman was charged after she was reportedly found with drugs and a defaced firearm in Elkton Thursday.
Elkton Police say 37-year-old Jeana Sweeney was found in a driveway on Guthrie Road after a report of a suspicious vehicle. She was reportedly under the influence of narcotics and a firearm was found in the door of the vehicle that had the serial number scratched off.
Sweeney was allegedly in possession of over an ounce of meth as well as marijuana and other narcotics were hidden on her person.
She is charged with driving on DUI suspended license, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, public intoxication, and trafficking meth, opiates, and marijuana.
