The Christian County Health Department reported two new deaths Friday morning related to COVID-19.
Spokeswoman Amanda Sweeney says a 71-year old white female and an 86-year old female, both with underlying conditions, passed away. She also said their thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and family of the deceased.
Sweeney encourages everyone in the community to consider others as you are out and about in the community. She says wear your mask, social distance when possible, frequently wash your hands with warm water and soap, and continue to follow health guidelines provided by the state and local health department.
