Two new positive coronavirus cases were confirmed in Todd County Wednesday.
Todd County Health Department Director Jen Harris says a healthy adult not linked to any other COVID-19 cases is isolated in the hospital with mild to moderate symptoms.
Harris adds the second case is isolated at home and is an adult with underlying health conditions with moderate symptoms.
This is the third COVID case confirmed in Todd County this week after the health department reported another healthy adult tested positive Monday. This case is also isolated at home with mild symptoms.
According to Harris, none of the cases announced this week are connected to any others infected with the virus.
To date, 180 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Todd County. Of that number, 162 have recovered, nine are healing at home, one is hospitalized and there have been eight deaths related to the virus.
Harris reports the county’s recovery rate is 90%.
