A Princeton man has been arrested on various charges in connection to a missing juvenile case.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison states around 9:43 Wednesday morning officers responded to the 200 block of Center Street to locate a missing 17-year-old juvenile who was reported as missing on August 31st. He adds when officers arrived they observed two individuals fleeing from the scene but were able to apprehend them following a short foot pursuit. The individuals were then identified as 24-year-old Scotty T. Brown and the missing juvenile.
Investigation revealed that Brown was allegedly assisting the juvenile from being found by officers.
Brown was then taken into custody and charged with second degree fleeing or evading police and custodial interference and was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
The juvenile was also detained and charged with fleeing or evading police and possession of marijuana and was released to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department for transport to a court ordered facility.
