Caldwell County Reporting Eight New COVID-19 Cases

Caldwell County is reporting eight new coronavirus cases.

Judge-Executive Larry Curling confirmed Tuesday afternoon the county’s 105th through 112th cases since the pandemic began in mid-March. He added the cases involve a 33-year-old female, 27-year-old female, 38-year-old male, 39-year-old female, 55-year-old female, 32-year-old female, 21-year-old male, and 36-year-old male, who are isolated at home.

The new cases join nine reported on Monday that pushed Caldwell County’s total cases to over 100.

The Pennyrile District Health Department is expected to release updated active case information, as well as recoveries, for the five county district Friday.
