Concrete Patching Work to Begin Monday on I-24 in Christian County

Motorists who travel Interstate 24 in southern Christian County need to be aware of some upcoming road work that will begin Monday.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokeswoman Kiersten Jaggers says motorists can expect lane closures from mile marker 86/U.S. 41-A exit to the Tennessee state line. Jaggers adds the closures are necessary for concrete patching efforts.

Crews will be working in various locations throughout this stretch of Interstate 24. The work is scheduled to begin in the eastbound lanes and motorists are advised to reduce their speed and use caution while traveling through this work zone.
