11 New COVID Cases Announced in Trigg, Lyon Counties Friday

Eleven new COVID-19 cases were announced in Trigg and Lyon counties Friday evening.

The Pennyrile District Health Department confirmed 4 new cases that include a 31-year-old female, a 71-year-old female, a 73-year-old male, and a 74-year-old female. All are isolated at home. Trigg County has reported 126 total cases, 42 are active, with 6 people hospitalized. Eighty-four recoveries have been reported since mid-March.

The department adds in Lyon County 7 new cases were confirmed Friday. The cases include a 20-year-old male, a 24-year-old male, a 45-year-old female, a 57-year-old male, a 61-year-old male, a 64-year-old male, and a 72-year-old female. All of the new cases are isolated at home. Lyon County has 59 total cases, 19 of which are active, with one person hospitalized. Thirty-six recoveries have been reported and four deaths since mid-March.
