Caldwell County Reports Four New COVID-19 Cases

Caldwell County has reported four new coronavirus cases.

Judge-Executive Larry Curling confirmed Friday afternoon the county’s 92nd through 95th cases since the pandemic began in mid-March. He added the cases involve a 28-year-old female, 21-year-old male, 66-year-old female, and a 23-year-old male, who are all isolated at home.

The Pennyrile District Health Department states Caldwell County currently has 17 active cases, 14 of which are isolated at home with three hospitalized. The county’s remaining 78 cases have recovered. The health department is expected to release updated active case numbers for the remainder of the five county district Friday evening.
