Caldwell County Reporting 83rd and 84th COVID-19 Cases

After reporting ten new cases over the weekend, Caldwell County has announced two new positive coronavirus cases.

Judge-Executive Larry Curling confirmed Monday morning the county’s 83rd case, which involves a 31-year-old male who is isolated at home. Monday afternoon Judge Curling reported the county’s 84th case, which involves a 67-year-old male, who is hospitalized due to unrelated circumstances.

Nine of the cases released Sunday are isolated at home with the tenth case currently hospitalized. The Pennyrile District Health Department has not released updated information concerning active cases or those who have recovered.
