A Princeton man has been arrested on rape and sodomy charges following an investigation by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office.
Chief Deputy Chris Noel reports a deputy received information of an alleged illegal relationship between a minor and an adult and that the crime may have occurred in Caldwell County. He adds within the course of investigation it was determined a 36-year-old Princeton man supposedly had an illegal relationship with a juvenile under the age of 16.
Chief Deputy Noel notes the man was arrested Monday afternoon around 1:30 and is being charged with four counts each of third degree rape, third degree sodomy, and first degree sexual abuse.
He was then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
