A partnership has been formed to deliver on the commitment to improve housing for soldiers and families assigned to Fort Campbell.

U.S. Army Garrison – Fort Campbell and Campbell Crossing – Lendlease has developed a plan for major home construction and renovation in the next five years. Campbell Crossing – Lendlease recently received the Army’s approval for the $87.4-million project that includes the construction of 144 new junior enlisted units, the renovation of 170 multiplex units, and the demolition of 250 homes in LaPointe Village.

The U.S. Army Garrison adds the new junior enlisted homes will be constructed in between the Lee Park neighborhood and The Commons at Pierce Village Community Center. The renovations will include major interior and exterior work to homes in New Hammond Heights, which is in concert with the Army’s Military Housing Privatization Initiative.

Campbell Crossing – Lendlease will be in charge of the renovations, as well as the design and construction of new homes. A tentative groundbreaking for the new homes is scheduled for March 2, 2021, with a completion date of September 2023. The renovations are expected to be completed in the fall of 2023, as well.
