Several road projects will be ongoing in Trigg County next week.
During a special called virtual fiscal court meeting Friday morning, Judge-Executive Hollis Alexander stated chip and sealing will start in a few days. The crews will work on numerous roads in the county. In addition, Alexander says work is continuing on U.S. 68 near Kentucky 139 and the four-lane addition.
In other news, Alexander says they are waiting on the department of local government to send them the information they need to determine the tax rate’s for next year.
In other comments, Alexander says new Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree will be sworn-in Monday afternoon, August 31.
The next fiscal court meeting, if held virtually, will be Tuesday afternoon, September 8 at 2:00.
