Trigg Schools Working To Provide Internet For Students Across County

The Trigg County Public Schools District is working on plans to make internet accessible to those who need it in order to complete virtual classwork through at least September 28.

Superintendent Bill Thorpe tells the News Edge they are working on a plan to set up mobile hotspots at churches and fire departments across the county.

Thorpe adds the district is as prepared as they can be with the virtual programs because of the uncertainty of the current situation.

Thrope says the length of virtual classes will be different each day.

He adds they recently learned some students can be brought in to the school to help with instruction, as well.
