The Todd County Health Department reported five new positive coronavirus cases were confirmed Thursday.
Director Jen Harris said one of the new cases is a healthy adult connected to another COVID case. The infected adult is isolated at home with moderate to severe symptoms.
She said the other four cases are adults with underlying health conditions who are all isolated home and not connected to any other cases. Two of those have mild symptoms while the other two cases have moderate to severe symptoms.
These cases raise the county’s total to 117 since mid-March. Of those, 88 cases have recovered, 23 are healing at home, and four are hospitalized. There have also been four deaths related to the virus with three of those occurring this week.
