The Todd County Health Department has reported the county’s second death related to the coronavirus and seven more new positive cases.
The health department confirmed the county had experienced its second death Tuesday but no other information was released about the person who passed away.
Director Jen Haris also reported the seven new positive cases pushed the county’s total to 109.
She said one of the new cases involves an adult with underlying health conditions who is connected to another COVID case and is isolated at home with mild symptoms.
According to Harris, two of the new cases are healthy adults connected to a congregate setting and both are isolated at home with mild symptoms.
The remaining cases that tested positive Tuesday are healthy adults who are all isolated at home with no symptoms or mild symptoms.
Of the 109 COVID-19 cases, 88 have recovered, 15 are healing at home and four are hospitalized. Harris reports the recovery rate is 81%.
