The Todd County Health Department has reported two more deaths linked to COVID-1, with all four of the county’s fatalities linked to the virus occurring in the past two weeks.
Jen Harris with the health department confirmed the deaths Wednesday afternoon. Todd County reported its first death linked to COVID-19 on Aug. 7. There were three additional cases reported Wednesday with 20 of the total cases active. Four of those active cases are hospitalized.
The three new cases were all listed as healthy with one of them a minor related to a previous case. 88 people have been reported as recovered which included 22 people on Tuesday.
Todd County has seen its COVID-19 case total nearly double in August. There have been 67 cases this month compared to 57 in the months previous.
