A long-term care facilty in Todd County provided an update Tuesday afternoon regarding the number of residents and staff who are infected with the coronavirus.
Hearthstone Place Long Term Care Administrator Elizabeth Gettings says they currently have 14 residents with confirmed cases of COVID-19. She adds the last positive result was on August 7th. In addition, Gettings reports they currently have four employees with confirmed active cases of the virus, with the most recent employee testing positive on Tuesday. She adds they have three employees who have completed their quarantine and returned to work.
Gettings says they will continue to remain in close communication with local and state health officials to ensure the long-term care facility is taking all the appropriate steps. She says they are also following guidance from the CDC and CMS to reduce the spread and impact of the coronavirus.
According to Gettings, they will continue to provide updates as they occur.
