A Hopkinsville woman has been charged with stealing over $1,300 from customers of Pennyrile Rural Electric last month while she was employed as a clerk.
Cadiz Police charged 25-year-old Jessica Mohon with 17 counts of Theft under $500, with Mohon arrested on a warrant Friday.
Police say Mohon made adjustments to the balances of 17 different customers at the Cadiz office and was able to remove $1,356 between July 20 and July 27. Police say the cash was removed from her drawer after the adjustments so no discrepancies were found in the final count.
