Christian County Public Schools has announced the Family Resource and Youth Services Centers (FRYSCs) are hosting the 2020 CCPS #ALLIN Back to School Drive-Thru at the Stadium of Champions next week.
District spokesman John Rittenhouse says this is the largest back to school event in the history of the school system and it is open to all students and their families. He adds students will receive much-needed school supplies, personal care items, personal protection equipment such as hand sanitizers and masks, and a to-go lunch. In order to maintain social distancing, Rittenhouse says participants will follow a marked route through the stadium parking lot. Family Resource and Youth Services Center directors and community partners will be handing out food and supplies, as well as welcoming students back.
According to Rittenhouse, the Famly Resource and Youth Service Centers offer a blend of programs and services determined by the needs of the population and have an established a record of success in supporting student achievement.
The event will be held at the stadium, Tuesday, August 25, from noon until 6 PM.
