Officials with the Christian County Health Department reported 5 new COVID-19 cases Saturday.
According to information released in the afternoon, the county had 246 active cases. One-hundred and thirty of them were reported in adults between the age of 22 and 59. Fifty-two cases in those 21 and younger, as well as, fifty-seven in adults between the age of 60 and 85. Cases among adults over the age of 85 sit at eight.
The Christian County Health Department adds there are 478 recoveries reported and 11 deaths due to the virus.
