One woman is dead and another is injured following a shooting on East 1st Street at the intersection of Rozelle Court in Hopkinsville early Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a report of shots fired just before 2 am and found 39-year-old Tiffany Gray of Hopkinsville that had been shot and was unresponsive in the roadway.
17-year-old Kanina Willingham who was also shot was reportedly taken to the hospital by private vehicle before police arrived.
Gray was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where she later died. Willingham was flown to a Nashville hospital, with the extent of her injuries unknown.
No arrest has been made and police ask if you have any information about the shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 270-887-TIPS(8477).
