The Todd County Health Department reported four new positive COVID-19 cases Thursday, two of which were confirmed on Wednesday.
According to Director Jen Harris, the cases confirmed on Wednesday included an adult with underlying health conditions and a healthy adult, who are both isolated at home with moderate and mild symptoms. She said these cases are not connected to any of the other coronavirus cases.
Harris said a healthy minor connected to case #92 tested positive Thursday and is isolated at home with mild symptoms. She said the second case that tested positive was an adult with underlying health conditions who is also connected to the #92 case. This case is also isolated at home with mild symptoms.
As of Thursday afternoon, Todd County had 96 total cases, 56 recoveries, 37 cases are healing at home, one case is hospitalized and there has been one death in the county. The county’s recovery rate from the virus is 58%.
