Police Identify Suspect in Friday Morning Hopkinsville Murder

Police are looking for a Hopkinsville man in connection to a fatal shooting on East 1st Street at the intersection of Rozelle Court in Hopkinsville Friday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say 20-year-old Tyresse Hollowell is wanted on charges of murder for the shooting of 39-year-old Tiffany Hinton Gray, of Hopkinsville. He is also accused of shooting and injuring 17-year-old Kanina Willingham.

Police say they were called for a report of shots fired just before 2 am and found Gray who had been shot and was unresponsive in the roadway. Willingham was taken to the hospital by private vehicle before police arrived. Gray was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center where police say she later died. Willingham was flown to a Nashville hospital, where the extent of her injuries remain unknown.

Police say they are also obtaining a warrant for a juvenile in connection to the shooting on charges of possession of a handgun by a minor.
