Caldwell County Reports 57th COVID-19 Case

Caldwell County is reporting another coronavirus case, the first since Tuesday.

Judge-Executive Larry Curling confirmed Friday afternoon the county’s 57th case since the pandemic began in mid-March. He added the case involves a 31-year-old female who is isolated at home.

According to case information released by the Pennyrile District Health Department Friday evening Caldwell County currently has four active cases of the virus, all four of which are isolated at home. The information also indicated the county’s 53 remaining cases have recovered.
