A Hopkinsville man was charged after he allegedly stole a truck on Sunnyvale Lane Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to Sunnyvale Lane for a hit and run accident and found that 39-year-old Muharrar Hopson had allegedly taken his in-law’s truck from the home and hit his own vehicle as he was leaving.
The truck was located on South Virginia Street with Hopson walking away from it as police pulled up. He is charged with theft by unlawful taking.
