Trigg County Schools Superintendent Bill Thorpe hosted a town hall event Tuesday afternoon to answer questions from parents concerning the upcoming school year.
As the situation continues to evolve daily, school officials provided the latest information on how virtual and in-person school options will operate. All principals say that each student will have their temperature checked when entering the building and that breakfast will be served in each school.
Primary school Principal Lindsey Kinslow adds all students will stay in their respective classrooms throughout the day.
Middle school Principal Amy Breckel says one thing will be extremely different this year for their students.
Intermediate school Principal Brian Futrell echoed a lot of the same comments as Breckel, including following the model of teachers switching classrooms instead of students.
High school Principal Shannon Burcham says each classroom will have a staggered release-time.
Burcham adds co-op and internships will continue this school year for seniors.
