A Hopkinsville man was charged after police say he severely assaulted his neighbor on Church Street in Hopkinsville Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say 35-year-old Mory Burse assaulted his neighbor causing a broken nose and severe lacerations.
As police were investigating the assault they were reportedly called to East 19th Street for Burse making threats towards law enforcement and found him with alcohol.
He is charged with second-degree assault and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
