A Princeton man was arrested Friday after he reportedly stole a vehicle from a home on Dawson Road.
Princeton Police report the call came in after 1:00 when the owners heard the vehicle start and observed it being driven away from their home in the 300 block. Shortly after the report, a Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputy observed the vehicle and was able to stop the individual.
Investigation revealed that 29-year old James R. Felkins had taken the vehicle without permission from the owner. Felkins was taken into custody and charged with theft by unlawful taking – auto, no registration plates, no insurance, and expired operator’s license.
