The Alhambra Theatre in Hopkinsville offers many entertainment venues and movies throughout the year but what the public may not be aware of is the newly renovated facility also has space that can be rented by groups for meetings, holiday events, etc.
Julie Sikes with the Pennyroyal Arts Council was on WHVO’s Hoptown This Morning Wednesday morning and said when they renovated the facility two years ago they added an upstairs lobby and cafe’ seating, banquet type area for group or holiday events.

Traditionally, she added they are usually very busy through the holiday season with work and family holiday parties, along with a variety of other events.

Sikes said they usually book up pretty quickly for holiday parties and they are hoping the coronavirus will not affect the normal holiday festivities. She also pointed out the rental space is a great alternative for anyone hesitant or uncomfortable with hosting a gathering in their own home due to health and safety concerns associated with COVID-19.

According to Sikes, pricing is done on an individual basis and depends on what each person needs for their event or gathering.
