New Record Number Of COVID-19 Cases In Kentucky

Governor Andy Beshear announced the largest single day total of COVID-19 cases Sunday afternoon.

In his daily update Governor Beshear reported 979 new cases, pushing the statewide total to 23,161.  He added 30 cases were from children 5 and under. Beshear warned that Kentuckians could face dire days ahead without renewed efforts by everyone to rein in the virus.

Governor Beshear said there were three news deaths to report, pushing the death toll to 670.  The deaths included a 67-years Clark County woman, a 74-year-old Jefferson County woman and a 58-year-old man from Oldham County.
