A local artist is hoping to inspire children and adults alike through a book series about chasing your dreams.
Miranda Meeks, Caldwell County Middle School Art Teacher, says she is currently illustrating a children’s book series entitled “The Little Shot.”
She adds while they have encountered several roadblocks and hiccups attempting to release the book they took inspiration from the story to not give up.
Meeks states she was originally drawn to the project because she saw it as a way to teach her students in a unique way.
She notes she illustrated the book as a way to help other art teachers as well.
“The Little Shot: Courage” can be found online at most major book retailers including Amazon, Target, and Walmart. “The Little Shot: Humility,” the second book in the series, is expected to be released during the fall.
