Authorities Searching for Princeton Man In Connection to Burglary

Local law enforcement are asking the public’s help in locating an individual in connection to a burglary in Kuttawa Friday morning.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports just before 11:30 deputies responded to a residence on KY 810 North in reference to a burglary in progress. According to the complaint the homeowner had returned home to find a white female on his porch supposedly acting as a look out for a male who was allegedly in the home burglarizing it. The homeowner then told deputies he observed a black male, who reportedly had items in his hands, flee from the rear of the home on foot.

Once deputies arrived on scene they were able to take the female, later identified as 32-year-old Kayla E. Boyd of Grand Rivers, into custody and charged her with second degree burglary, first degree possession of a controlled substance, and various other offenses.

Following investigation stolen items belonging to the victim were recovered and the fleeing male was identified as 35-year-old Jowan “Bubba” Riley of Princeton. Riley, who is wanted on second degree burglary, possession of a controlled substance, and various other charges, is known to frequent Caldwell and Lyon counties.
