As cases continue to increase across the state Caldwell County is reporting another positive coronavirus case.
Judge-Executive Larry Curling confirmed Saturday afternoon the county’s 45th case. He added the case involves a 47-year-old female who is recovering at home.
This brings the county’s active case total to 27, with two of those hospitalized. Since the pandemic began, 18 of the 45 cases have recovered.
