Celebrate Recovery, a nationwide organization, is working to help area residents overcome addictions.
Ken O’Hare, who is involved with the program in Hopkinsville, tells the News Edge Celebrate Recovery can help with several addictions.
O’Hare adds one thing that really helps to fuel an addiction is electronic devices.
He notes they are truly a faith-based organization.
One local Celebrate Recovery takes place Thursday nights at Hopkinsville Foursquare Church at 2717 Canton Pike.
There are a few other local Celebrate Recovery or similar programs in the area.
Most referrals for the Celebrate Recovery program come from the Department of Corrections after someone has been arrested. For more information, you can call Hopkinsville Foursquare Church at (270) 632-1286.
