A man was rushed to the hospital after a single-vehicle wreck on Canton Pike Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say an eastbound car ran off the road hitting a fence then a utility pole before coming to a stop.
When police arrived a man was reportedly found in the passenger seat but no driver was located. The passenger had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Hopkinsville Fire Department.
He was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and the full extent of his injuries remains unknown.
The wreck happened just before 1 am near the intersection of Pyle Lane.
