An investigation is underway in Caldwell County after the police say the body of an adult white female was found in a cemetery near Fredonia over the weekend.
Kentucky State Police Post 2 spokesman Trooper Rob Austin tells the News Edge the body of an unidentified woman was found Saturday evening in a cemetery off Kentucky 91.
At this time, Trooper Austin did not release any other details due to the ongoing death investigation.
Caldwell County Coroner Dwayne Trafford tells the News Edge the cause of death is pending until the state medical examiner has completed an autopsy.
