CCPS Seeking Public Input For In-Person Instruction

The Christian County Public Schools COVID-19 Task Force is seeking input from parents or guardians through an online survey regarding face-to-face instruction for students in a classroom setting.

Communications Director at the school district, John Rittenhouse says the task force continues to meet to ensure the district is able to provide a safe and healthy education for students with in-person instruction during the upcoming school year. In order to make this happen as safely as possible, he says the task force is conducting its second online parent/guardian survey beginning Wednesday. He adds that information gained from these surveys will enable the task force to address safety and health considerations, along with instruction options.

According to Rittenhouse, the task force is led by Superintendent Chris Bentzel and consists of school administrators, teachers, and parents.
