Capitol Cinemas Excited to Offer More Classic Films for Community

Capitol Cinemas in Princeton has now been open a week and are excited to introduce another round of classic family friendly and well loved films for the community to enjoy.

Owner Heidi Boyd says she is extremely grateful to those who have shown up to support the theater thus far and is excited to announce classic sci-fi film Back to the Future, family friendly film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and action thriller Jurassic Park will be showing Friday, June 12th through Thursday, June 18th. She adds while the theater does have to operate at 33-percent capacity there’s still plenty of room for fans to come and rewatch these classics on the big screen.

Boyd states it’s very unusual that film companies re-release classic films for the big screen and hopes the community will take advantage of these unique circumstances.

She notes each cinema is cleaned thoroughly after each showing, employees are wearing masks and gloves, and even concession sales have changed a bit to help keep everyone safe.

Boyd explains that curb-side pickup for concessions is also available during showtimes.

Curb-side orders can be made by calling or texting 270-625-0076. Full showtimes can be found on Capitol Cinemas website, capitolcinemas.net, or by calling their show information number at 270-365-7900.
