Absentee Voting Changes Announced In Christian County

Christian County officials are continuing to work and make changes regarding absentee voting for the upcoming primary election.

During an interview on Hoptown This Morning Thursday, Judge-Executive Steve Tribble says the front door at the old Courthouse opened Monday for absentee voting by appointment only. However, he adds the Clerk’s Office has made a change and is now allowing walk-ins.

In addition, Judge Tribble says those who are calling the clerk’s office to request an absentee ballot and can’t get through, can now call his office.

In addition, he says registered voters can vote at the old Courthouse through Saturday prior to the primary election on June 23.

As the News Edge previously reported, The Bruce Convention Center will be the only polling location where in-person voting will be allowed on June 23 from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
