The Christian County Health Department is reporting two new active COVID-19 cases Friday.
The department says there is now a total of 137 confirmed cases. In the past week, there have been 20 new cases reported with African-Americans making up half of those new cases. Health officials are reporting 26 active cases which is the most in Christian County since May 5.
Of the 26 active cases, three are under the age of 21, twenty are between 22 and 59 years of age, and three of the cases are between 60 and 84 years of age.
As of Friday morning, the department still reported 108 recoveries and three total deaths in Christian County connected to COVID-19.
