Motorists need to be aware a new traffic signal will be activated on Fort Campbell Boulevard north of Oak Grove mid-morning Friday.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 2 spokeswoman Keirsten jaggers says the traffic light is at the intersection of U.S. 41-A/Fort Campbell Boulevard and Valor Drive, the entrance to the Love’s Travel Center. The light has been operating on flashing mode to familiarize drivers with the new signal. Jaggers says variable message boards will be placed in advance of the traffic signal on Fort Campbell Boulevard to alert motorists of the new signal and to prepare to stop.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down while traveling through this area and pay attention to posted signage for new stop conditions.
