A healthy adult who works at an essential job outside the county has Todd County’s 18th confirmed COVID-19 case. The Todd County Health Department announced Wednesday the adult contracted the virus at work and is not displaying any symptoms. They are self-isolating at home.

Jen Harris with the health department said the latest case is not connected to any of the previous 17 cases in the county. She said there are five active cases in Todd County, and the other 13 cases have recovered from the coronavirus.

Todd County’s first case was reported on March 27, and the county ranks 50th out of 120 counties in total cases.
