A Hopkinsville man was charged with DUI after police say he was found blocking the road with his vehicle on South Elm Street Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 30-year-old Antonio Haskins was stopped in the opposite lane of traffic preventing vehicles from traveling on South Elm Street.
As officers got behind him he reportedly pulled off but was stopped on North Jessup Avenue after his vehicle almost hit a parked car.
Haskins allegedly got out of the driver seat and got into the back seat. He reportedly admitted to drinking earlier in the evening and an open beer was found in the vehicle.
He is charged with DUI third offense, careless driving, obstructing a highway, and failure to maintain insurance.
