Grand Jury Indicts Man In October 2019 Clarksville Murder

A 22-year old man has been indicted by the Montgomery County Grand Jury in connection to a fatal shooting on College Street last year.

According to Clarksville police, officers responded to 930 College Street on October 22, 2019, and found 31-year old Ontario Marbury with a gunshot wound and unresponsive. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say an investigation led to the arrest of 22-year old Eric Tyreese Davis as the shooter.

The case was presented to the grand jury this month and Davis was indicted on one count of first-degree murder.

Police say the indictment was served on Davis who was already in custody in the Montgomery County Jail on unrelated charges.
