Caldwell Medical Center Extending Drive-Up COVID-19 Testing Through May 28

Officials with the Caldwell Medical Center have announced that drive-up coronavirus testing will continue through the end of the month.

Mandy Smiley, Infection Preventionist, says the response to testing has been phenomenal and they have decided to extend testing through Thursday, May 28th. She adds testing will be held the next two weeks on Tuesday and Thursday from 3 until 5 PM at Caldwell Medical Center’s downtown office, located at 110 South Cave Street in Princeton, and appointments are required.

Smiley notes community members do not have to be experiencing symptoms but do have to be at least 18 years-of-age or older, and must have their driver’s license and medical insurance card, though uninsured individuals can still qualify for screening. She states those being tested are also being asked to self-quarantine following the test as they await results, which could take up to 72 hours.

Testing is available for anyone who lives in Caldwell, Lyon, or Crittenden counties, and appointments can be made by calling the Caldwell Medical Center at 270-365-0332.
