The Todd County Health Department announced Tuesday night a new positive coronavirus case has been confirmed in the county, bringing the total number of cases to 16 since the outbreak began.
Jen Harris, director at the health department, says a healthy adult was tested Monday and received the positive COVID-19 test result Tuesday. The adult is currently isolated at home with mild symptoms. She adds the adult is not connected with any of the previous cases but has had multiple contacts, who have been notified and advised to self-quarantine for 14-days.
Out of the 16 coronavirus cases in Todd County, 6 cases are active and 10 have recovered from the virus.
