U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Pennyroyal Healthcare Service, Inc. will receive additional funding from the CARES Act to support expanded COVID-19 testing.
According to McConnell’s office, the health center in Hopkinsville will get over $163,000 in additional funding and is among $10.3 million being sent to Kentucky’s 25 community health centers.
He says expanding access to coronavirus testing will help slow the spread of the virus and help the state take meaningful steps toward re-opening safely.
