The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Freeze Warning and Frost Advisory for western Kentucky in effect from 11:00 Friday evening until 8:00 Saturday morning.
Meteorologists say sub-freezing temperatures as low as 32 degrees are forecast for overnight. They add the frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other sensitive vegetation, and could possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
